We publish a locally based free paper that is closely aligned with the lifestyles of the Shonan area. We provide information that is useful for daily life, focusing on the Hiratsuka, Chigasaki, and Fujisawa (parts) areas, while valuing the charm of the area and connections with people. As a paper medium that local people can easily pick up and read, we value providing reliable and friendly information. We carefully introduce the appeal of locally rooted businesses in a wide range of genres, including beauty, food and drink, health, education, and events. By linking with SNS and the web, we are able to reach a wider range of people.

Media Concept

The charm of Shonan is not only the sea and nature,

but also the lifestyle, people, and culture that are rooted there.

Shonan Journal aims to create “Torisetsu” for people who live, work, and visit the Shonan area,

and we value creating in-depth information that conveys the background of the area.

We want to make this city “more fun” and “more loved” through “Torisetsu”.
